American Honda Motor establishes Insurance Agency
American Honda Motor has launched a licensed insurance agency, Honda Insurance Solutions, for Acura and Honda customers. The new venture will offer auto, boat, condo, home, motorcycle, pet, recreational vehicle and renters insurance coverage. It has partnered with VIU by HUB, an omnichannel insurance brokerage, to offer quoting services and professional advice.
Honda Insurance features auto insurance with optional original equipment manufacturer parts coverage, which is said to guarantee that any claim repairs on Honda and Acura vehicles will be conducted using genuine parts from the respective brands.
Honda Insurance Solutions has nationwide reach, being licensed in all 50 US states as well as the District of Columbia. The agency is domiciled in Delaware, has its principal place of business in Irving, Texas, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Honda Finance Corporation.
