CryptoGames launches CG Ventures, investing in Web3 and trading card sectors

CryptoGames, a developer of blockchain games, has launched “CG Ventures” as a new corporate venture capital business.

To date, CG Ventures has invested in 17 companies, mainly in the Web3 field, where CryptoGames expects business synergy, but going forward they will also consider investing in the trading card field.

About CryptoGames

On June 25, 2019, the blockchain card game "Crypto Spells" was officially released, and crowdsale sales reached 900 ETH, the highest record in Japan at the time. In June 2020, the company also aired its first terrestrial television commercial. In 2022, the company launched the gas-free Oasys Verse layer "TCG Verse," and has since expanded its services to include "TCG STORE" and "OasChoice."
