Adyen, the global payments platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies, is pleased to announce that its payments platform has been adopted by Dinii for “Dinii Cashless,” a cashless payment service exclusively for restaurants.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, the demand for contactless ordering and payment systems has increased in the food and beverage industry. With the increasing adoption of mobile ordering POS systems, more restaurants are introducing mobile ordering systems with online payment capabilities. However, in many cases, the ordering system and the payment system, although ostensibly integrated, are actually operated as separate systems. This has required restaurant operators to contract and manage both systems separately, which has been time-consuming and labor-intensive.
To solve this problem, Dinii decided to integrate Adyen’s payment platform into the “Dinii Cashless” service and support both offline and online payments through APIs. For stores that wish to accept face-to-face payments, Dinii will provide Adyen’s latest POS terminals, “AMS1” and “S1F2,” in a plug-and-play state through Dinii.
This means that restaurants can use both the ordering system and the payment system as a one-stop solution by simply signing a contract with Dinii. Payment terminal updates and other such work will be handled centrally by Dinii, allowing each store to use the latest software. In addition, it will no longer be necessary to sign contracts with payment agencies, as was previously the case, freeing them from the hassle of complicated contract procedures.
