Infcurion Launches Latest Version of Next-Generation Card Platform "Xard"

Infcurion, which will go public on the Growth Segment of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on October 24, 2025, has started offering the latest version of its next-generation card platform "Xard (Exard)".
This latest version adds integrated implementation of "member management," "funding source management," and "credit management"—functions that previously required significant development effort—to the platform's standard features.
This enables companies adopting Xard to launch their own branded credit cards, prepaid cards, debit cards, and other financial products with minimal development resources.
Background and Overview of Xard Latest Version
The domestic business-to-business (B2B) payment market in Japan has reached approximately 1,160 trillion yen. In recent years, with the implementation of the invoice system and amendments to electronic bookkeeping regulations, plus the planned complete abolition of paper bills and checks by 2026, the shift toward cashless B2B payments is expected to accelerate further.
Currently, corporate credit cards account for only about 0.7% of the overall B2B payment market, but the potential for growth is substantial. Corporate cards are gaining attention as a means to improve corporate cash flow and streamline business operations. Additionally, in the business-to-consumer (B2C) payment market, a style of payment completion using only smartphones without physical cards has become established, particularly among people in their 20s and 30s.
Against this backdrop, Infcurion began offering Xard in April 2022. The platform supports companies in launching proprietary card and corporate payment services by providing "card issuance" and "transaction management" functionality via APIs, enabling various types of enterprises—including fintech companies, financial institutions, retail businesses, and web service providers—to develop their own card offerings.
With this latest version, a sandbox environment can be provided in as little as 2 weeks. By offering these features in a flexible format where companies can "adopt only the functions they need," the platform enables a wide range of service providers—including SaaS providers, EC platforms, and B2B payment companies—to launch financial services under their own brands.
New Features and Expected Benefits
By providing these new features through Xard, companies can reduce initial development costs and focus on developing their own services and products that will give them competitive advantages. Additionally, the platform supports diverse business models and use cases, including subscription-based services, payroll cards, and B2B payments.
Future Development
Going forward, Xard plans to add features that enhance operational efficiency and safety in card business operations, such as per-card usage limits and merchant controls. The platform also intends to offer account transfer functionality through PSP connections, direct balance adjustment APIs, and revolving credit and cash advance features. Infcurion aims to create an environment where companies using Xard can deploy increasingly diverse financial services.
