JAL Launches Top-of-the-Range Metal Card, the "JAL Luxury Card"

Luxury Card, APLUS, and Japan Airlines have begun accepting applications for the "JAL Luxury Card" and "JAL Luxury Card Limited" (invitation-only). These cards offer an unprecedented, high-quality experience for customers seeking the highest value. The "JAL Luxury Card" and "JAL Luxury Card Limited" cards are made of heavy metal materials evocative of JAL aircraft. At their center is a crane, the symbol of the JAL brand, carved using delicate carving techniques inspired by the traditional Japanese craft of Kamakura carving. Attention has been paid not only to its visual beauty but also to the texture it feels when touched, expressing the prestige and presence of a card that is the highest in its class.
Furthermore, in keeping with the Luxury Card philosophy of "Experience MoreⓇ," the cards combine a luxurious metallic feel with JAL's signature attention to detail. In particular, the invitation-only "JAL Luxury Card Limited" is designed with a deep crimson color symbolizing the JAL brand, and a special lacquer-inspired finish further enhances its elegance and presence.
With the JAL Luxury Card (annual fee JPY 242,000), simply possessing the card automatically confers JMB Crystal status. With the JAL Luxury Card Limited (annual fee JPY 599,500), 50,000 FLY ON points are awarded annually, securing JMB Sapphire status. Furthermore, by combining existing FLY ON points, customers can aim for the highest level of JMB Diamond status, a card packed with benefits. Customers can also enjoy the special services offered by the Luxury Card, providing them with special experiences from everyday life to travel.
