Japan Post Bank has started an account-linked payment service via API with the “PG Multi-Payment Service” provided by GMO Payment Gateway. Through this service, payment for services can now be made by immediate deduction from Japan Post Bank accounts via the PG Multi-Payment Service.

As the first service to introduce this, Japan Post Bank has started a service to charge the proprietary e-money “Coke ON Wallet” attached to the official Coca-Cola app “Coke ON” by linking to a bank account.

#### PG Multi-Payment Service

This is a comprehensive online payment service provided by GMO Payment Gateway since 2008, which allows for the introduction of various payment methods such as credit card payments, convenience store payments, pay-later payments, smartphone payments, and account-linked payments in a single package.

#### User Experience

On the payment method selection screen of eligible e-commerce sites, select bank account payment, then select a Japan Post Bank account on the bank account selection screen to make a payment (authentication via the Japan Post Bank authentication app is required).

For Coke ON Wallet, a campaign is being held from April 24, 2024 to June 30, 2024.

Going forward, Japan Post Bank will gradually expand the number of e-commerce sites, etc. where account-linked payments can be used through the “PG Multi-Payment Service.”

Japan Post Bank will continue to promote cashless payments by adding functions utilizing new technologies and strive to improve customer convenience.
