Next Finance Tech Joins the Canton Network as Validator

Next Finance Tech has joined the Canton Network, a privacy-friendly open blockchain network governed by over 40 of the world's leading financial institutions and service providers, as a validator (node operator) from August 2025. Currently, there are over 400 ecosystem participants in Canton.

Leveraging Next Finance Tech's track record of operating nodes for major blockchains such as Ethereum, the firm has been collaborating with major overseas protocols and providing staking infrastructure to domestic business companies. Global financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, HSBC, and BNP Paribas are already participating in the Canton Network, and Next Finance Tech will contribute to the development of a new global financial infrastructure that connects traditional financial markets with decentralized finance, while also contributing to the stable operation of the network as a Japanese node operator. In the future, as a member of the Coincheck Group and Monex Group, Next Finance Tech is also considering the possibility of collaborating with various initiatives within the group through this participation.

The Canton Network is the only public, permissionless blockchain designed specifically for institutional investors, uniquely combining three key attributes: privacy, compliance, and scalability. Governed by the Canton Foundation, which brings together the world's leading financial institutions, the network enables real-time, secure synchronization and settlement across multiple asset classes on a common, interoperable infrastructure. Originally developed by Digital Asset, Canton is now open-source and powered by its native token, Canton Coin. Supporting decentralized governance and collaborative application development, Canton connects the potential of blockchain with the power of global finance, enabling financial flows the way they should be.

"We are honored to be able to participate as a validator in the Canton Network, which is aimed at the global financial market. This marks an important step in enabling institutional investors to conduct financial transactions using blockchain technology, and it is our role to support Japanese financial institutions so that they do not fall behind," said Soichiro Tokuriki, CEO of Next Finance Tech, "We will continue to utilize our knowledge as a node operator to ensure the stable operation of the network and contribute to the creation of a next-generation financial infrastructure that connects traditional and digital finance."

Next Finance Tech is a blockchain infrastructure company based in Japan that provides staking services to corporate clients both in Japan and globally as a node operator. Leveraging its track record as an operator, the company offers a wide range of solutions to its clients, including the development of cryptocurrency operation and management systems and consulting services.
