# Resona Asset Management Partners with NowCast to Automate Fund Documentation on Snowflake

Resona Asset Management and NowCast, a financial technology subsidiary of Finatext Holdings, have jointly built an automated infrastructure on the Snowflake platform to streamline the creation and management of fund prospectuses and investment trust terms.

The new system addresses longstanding operational inefficiencies within the asset management sector, where fund documentation has historically been maintained in unstructured Word files. Previous manual workflows required staff to individually review, edit, and cross-check files for regulatory compliance and internal revisions, leading to multi-day processing times per update and elevated risk of human error.

The newly deployed platform centralizes fund data directly within Resona Asset Management’s existing Snowflake environment, standardizing documents into structured data. The platform incorporates four primary operational tools:

- **Fund Search Functionality:** Utilizes natural language processing and attribute filtering to quickly identify similar or target funds.
- **Generative AI Document Editor:** Generates initial drafts and revisions for fund prospectuses and terms based on prompt instructions, while enabling staff to review, edit, or reject AI proposals.
- **Batch Update Processing:** Combines AI-driven rule generation with deterministic programmatic execution to apply updates across multiple funds, mitigating hallucination risks by restricting the AI strictly to rule creation.
- **Automated Comparative Tables:** Automatically generates side-by-side comparison tables required for regulatory filings directly from document delta data.

By separating deterministic data execution from generative tasks, the platform maintains financial-grade accuracy while automating a significant portion of fund administration workflows.
