SBI Sumishin Net Bank Becomes "d NEOBANK" after Aquisition by NTT DOCOMO

SBI Sumishin Net Bank will become a consolidated subsidiary of NTT DOCOMO as of October 1st, 2025. Following the consolidation, starting on the same date, the service will be rebranded as “d NEOBANK”, which is representing the wide range of services directly provided by SSNB to both individual and corporate clients. As a member of DOCOMO Group, SSNB will further accelerate its efforts toward growth and value creation.

About the New Service Brand Name “d NEOBANK”

The new service brand name “d NEOBANK” combines the existing “NEOBANK®” brand with DOCOMO’s signature “d”. Not only does it reflect the bank's brand concept, “By leveraging cutting-edge technology to seamlessly integrate banking functions into various industries and services, we aim to create a society where affluence circulates.”, but it also embodies its goal of further growth as the banking arm of the DOCOMO Group.

d NEOBANK aims to provide more convenient and rewarding financial services to its clients by integrating SSNB services, such as bank accounts, with DOCOMO services including “d Payment®”, “d POINT”, and “d CARD®”.

With the launch of the new service brand “d NEOBANK”, the bank will further strengthen its collaboration with DOCOMO and with its existing shareholder, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. Through this enhanced partnership, d NEOBANK aims to expand products and services that meet the diverse needs of its clients, improve sales capabilities by leveraging DOCOMO’s various channels, such as its membership base, corporate network, and DOCOMO shops, and explore new business domains to create new value.

The new service brand and logo design will be rolled out in stages starting Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, across d NEOBANK's service website, mobile app, and various marketing activities.

There will be no changes to the services currently provided.

“d NEOBANK” launch campaign

To commemorate the launch of the new service brand “d NEOBANK,” there will be three rewarding special campaign offers.

  1. Open an account and get a big bonus of d POINTs!

During the campaign period, the first 150,000 clients who open an account at an eligible branch and meet certain conditions, such as making a deposit or subscribing DOCOMO services, will receive up to 15,000 d POINTs (valid for a limited time and usage).

  1. Take out a new mortgage and receive up to 300,000 d POINTs!

During the campaign period, clients who take out a new mortgage will receive 1,000 d POINTs (valid for a limited time and usage). Furthermore, depending on their subscription to DOCOMO services and the loan amount, clients will receive up to a maximum of 300,000 d POINTs (valid for a limited time and usage).

  1. Free Transfer Fee Campaign for Corporate Clients!

During the campaign period, corporate clients who register for the direct debit service upon campaign entry will receive up to 100 free domestic transfers (10 transfers per month for 10 months).
