Seven Bank Commences Capital & Business Alliance Discussions with ITOCHU Corporation

Seven Bank agreed with ITOCHU Corporation, majority owner of Family Mart, on the commencement of capital and business alliance discussions including collaboration in a wide range of financial areas.

Leveraging its domestic and international business foundation with strengths in the consumer sector, ITOCHU develops new services and businesses by capturing the diversifying needs of the market and consumers through a market-oriented perspective.

Seven Bank operates at more than 28,000 ATMs nationwide, including locations at 7-Eleven stores, shopping centers, tourist destinations, airports, and stations. Nationwide deployment of the new type of ATMs has been completed. They are equipped with identification document recognition and facial recognition features in addition to the existing cash deposit and withdrawal functions. Seven Bank is expanding various services that cater to customers' lives to broaden the possibilities of ATMs as a service platform.

Based on this agreement, both companies will move forward with the consideration of a capital and business partnership including collaboration in a wide range of financial areas.
