Megabanks participate in Flyle's JPY 1.88bn Series A to Expand AI Agents in Contact Centers
Tokyo-based startup Flyle has raised ¥1.88 billion ($12.6 million) in Series A funding to scale its AI agent platform designed for enterprise contact center operations and customer experience (CX) management. The round brings the company’s total raised capital since inception to approximately ¥22.7 billion.

The funding round drew participation from a range of prominent venture capital firms and strategic investors, including ALPHA, ALL STAR SAAS FUND, Firstlight Capital, Aflac Ventures Japan, Japan Post Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, Mizuho Capital, and SMBC Venture Capital.
Flyle leverages a foundational unstructured data processing engine to deliver a suite of autonomous AI services. Concurrent with the funding, the company launched its official "AI Operator" service, which handles incoming customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email, integrating directly with internal systems to automate transactions, service modifications, and resolutions. Flyle’s broader platform includes automated response quality evaluation, voice-of-customer (VOC) analytics, CX survey tools, and an integrated BI data platform.

The capital injection comes as contact centers across Japan face mounting operational pressures driven by severe labor shortages, high employee turnover, and rising minimum wages. Industry data highlighted in the release shows that 76% of companies struggle with operator recruitment, while 72% have deployed generative AI to offset labor gaps.
Led by CEO Yuichi Takabe, Flyle intends to use the capital to accelerate product development and strengthen its customer success infrastructure, helping enterprise clients transition contact centers from cost units into strategic CX assets. Existing enterprise adopters of Flyle's platform include major Japanese corporations such as NH Foods, Orient Corporation, Kaunet, and Q'SAI.
