Minto has raised funds through a third-party allocation of new shares to NTT Docomo Ventures.

Minto is a startup that develops entertainment businesses centered on manga, anime, and other media content. Minto collaborates with creators active in intellectual property (IP) and social media fields to support corporate marketing campaigns. With a network encompassing over 250 leading creators in Japan, Minto provides integrated IP business services spanning planning, production, and distribution. Additionally, Minto handles IP licensing and in-house IP development through their studio, operate web3 businesses like blockchain games, and opened a webtoon-focused studio in 2021. Currently Minto is focused on the global expansion of Japanese IP through overseas offices in three locations.

The Docomo Group is strengthening its content businesses in the video and entertainment fields, providing services like dAnime Store and dBook, while also developing new content leveraging metaverse and web3 technology.

Moving forward, Minto with expertise in global content and character production and the Docomo Group which aims to expand in entertainment fields like “Video & Entertainment,” “XR,” and “Web3,” will work together to create new value.
